About this dataset

Voice data engineered for synthesis

Building a great TTS voice starts with great data. We record single-speaker datasets in studio conditions designed specifically for speech synthesis: controlled pacing, consistent microphone position, minimal variation in room tone, and phonetically balanced scripts that cover your target language’s full sound inventory.
Our voice artists are experienced in long-form studio recording and understand the consistency requirements of TTS training. Sessions are directed by audio producers who monitor for drift in energy, pacing, and articulation across recording days, the subtle inconsistencies that cause artefacts in synthesised output.
Datasets are delivered with time-aligned transcriptions at utterance and word level, phonetic annotations, and full speaker metadata. Everything your pipeline needs, in the format it expects.

Use cases

What teams build with our TTS data

Brand Voices

Create a unique, ownable synthetic voice for your product, IVR system, or digital assistant, trained on studio-quality data from a single professional voice artist.

Navigation and Automotive

In-car voice prompts and turn-by-turn navigation need clarity above all. Our TTS data is recorded for intelligibility in noisy environments.

Accessibility Tools

Screen readers and assistive tech need natural-sounding voices. We record with the prosody and pacing that makes synthesised speech comfortable to listen to for hours.

Audiobook Narration

AI-generated audiobooks require expressive, long-form TTS data. We record with the dynamic range and storytelling quality that listeners expect.

Customer Service

IVR and virtual agent voices that don’t sound robotic. Our TTS data captures the natural warmth and conversational tone that keeps callers engaged.

Multilingual TTS

Launch synthetic voices across markets. We record with native speakers and linguist-designed scripts for each target language.

The Flaunt difference

Why studio TTS data produces better voices

Flaunt Audio
Directed recording for consistency
Phonetically balanced scripts
Professional voice artist talent
Multi-day session continuity monitoring
Typical provider
Unsupervised home recordings
Generic script coverage
Non-professional speakers
No cross-session consistency checks

US English

TTS training data in US English voices

Need a US English voice for speech synthesis? We cast and contract native US English voice talent for TTS training data, in neutral, conversational or expressive styles. We run a large roster of consented voices. Voices record in a professional studio, either ours or their own, with every session directed live by our producers. Every voice is contracted and paid, with consent documented.

FAQ

TTS training data FAQ

It depends on your model architecture. Modern neural TTS can produce good results from 10-20 hours. Higher-quality or multi-style voices typically benefit from 30-80+ hours. We’ll advise based on your specific engine and quality targets.
Absolutely. We provide audition samples from our roster so you can select the voice that fits your brand. We can also cast for specific demographics, accents, or vocal qualities.
Every session starts with reference playback from the previous session. Our producers monitor for drift in energy, pitch range, and pacing. We use the same studio, microphone position, and signal chain throughout the project.
Yes. We offer IPA transcriptions alongside orthographic text. We can also provide custom phoneme sets or pronunciation dictionaries aligned to your TTS engine’s requirements.
All voice artists sign a comprehensive consent and licensing agreement that covers AI voice synthesis use. We provide full documentation with every delivery. Terms can be customised to your licensing requirements.
Yes. We can record multiple speaking styles (neutral, warm, authoritative, conversational, etc.) from the same speaker within a single project. Style labels are included in the metadata.
